* Recommended Ages: The Mini Golf course is recommended for kids aged 6 thru adult; although kids as young as 2 enjoy it.
* Length of Time to play 9 holes: A group of 4 adults playing together on the course will take about 15-20 minutes.
* Types of Events the course is rented for: Birthday Parties for kids as well as Adult Parties, Family Picnics, Weddings, Company Picnics, Corporate Team Building Days, “real” Golf Tournaments as an activity for guests not golfing at the event, Community Events, Class reunions, School fun days, Grand openings, Retirement Parties, Fundraisers, Summer Camps, etc. It is a fun addition to a party where many of the guests are golfers!
* The Mini Golf course requires a minimum of 90 minutes set up time before the party and 30 minutes for breakdown of the games. This is important information for those who rent facilities for their event and need to plan for their rental time.
* Course Information: We have 18 holes: “The Front 9” (Castle, Loop, Hills, Sand Trap, Water Hole, Bridge, Lighthouse, Long Shot, Plateau ~ Last Hole) and “The Back 9” (Spiral, U-Turn, Plinko, The Woods, Treasure Chest, Stairs, The Cannon, Pins, Last Hole). Holes measure between 8 and 30 feet in length and 2 to 4 feet in width. All necessary score cards, putters, and pencils are included with the course.
* Safety Suggestions: For guests under the age of 10, adult supervision is required.
*In the event of rain, clients have chosen a variety of solutions to meet their individual needs. Some of these options have included the following: renting a large tent from a rental company, moving the party to an indoor location (garage, rented hall, walkout basement, etc.), changing the start time of the party to the predicted best part of the day, proceeding in the rain, or picking a rain date. The course is weather proof. It is your party, we will continue on in all situations except thunder and lightning.
* The difference between a Party Host and an Attendant is the following: The Party Host will actively run all activities and games and engage your guests in a variety of activities throughout the event. The Party Host will do face painting, field games, water balloon tosses, golf tournaments, prize golf, etc with your guests. The attendant’s role is to hand our putters, explain the course and how to use it, re-fill balls, collect putters, etc.
Set Up Information:
The Mini Golf Course and Mini Golf Party set ups vary from location to location. In a “perfect” situation, we set up the course in one area in order of the scorecard. However, ultimately the set up is dependent on the size of the property as well as vehicle & trailer access to it. We can make most situations work.
· Indoor Mini Golf set up: We do events year round, inside and out. If you wish for the course to be set up in one location, we need a minimum indoor cleared area of 800 square feet for a small party of 20-30 people; if you are planning for a larger scale event, you should plan for 2000 square feet for adequate room for guests to move around the holes. We use about ½ of an average sized school / Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium. We can also set up “pub crawl” style in which we set up a few holes around the building where they fit. i.e. 3 Holes in the garage, 4 in the basement, and the last two in the family room where the party congregates.
· Outdoor Mini Golf set up: This is usually spread out over the Front and Side Yards or Backyard Areas that are close to the driveways or street access. We do this for several reasons.
o This allows us to discreetly dismantle and pick up the course with as little disruption to the congregating areas of the party.
o There are 30 pieces necessary for us to build our 9 hole course on location. This makes for many trips. Course pieces range in weight from 25 lbs to 75 lbs so we do not carry them for long distances.
